Meet Our Licensed Christian Counselors
Lizelle Fischer is a licensed professional counselor in Texas. She has helped many people overcome psychological and social challenges of infertility, depression, and anxiety. She is trained in a variety of areas, helping clients work through habitual patterns or an unexpected crisis. She guides them through coping skills to be able to support themselves or their loved one’s. Her ability to truly focus on what a client’s goal is during therapy has helped them to succeed in their own goals. Having that as her foundation, her treatment style blends and implements research proven treatment modalities and interventions that are conducive to helping
her clients develop the skill set to maintain long-lasting change. Don’t be afraid to get counseling support while going through infertility, it can be a key part of the process.
Tara is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescent and adult populations. She received her Master’s in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University and her Bachelor of Science from the University of North Texas. She utilizes her knowledge and skills to help people achieve their goals, gain better balance, and overcome difficulties, thus facilitating cognitive, emotional, and behavioral growth. She has experience in individual, group, couples, and family therapy. Tara uses research-based and integrative approaches and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), through EMDIRA; stress and relaxation therapy; trauma; and grief. She is committed to joining her clients on their journey to health and wholeness. Tara is passionate about life and people and creates a warm, safe, and creative environment.
Hillary Marvin received her Master’s degree in Counseling and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Hillary is also a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) practitioner, a modality of therapy geared toward children from hard places. Hillary enjoys counseling children, adolescents, and female adults presenting with behavioral challenges, depression, anxiety, self- harming behaviors, abuse, grief, trauma, divorce, stress management, life transitions, and self-esteem. She takes a holistic approach to counseling, taking into consideration that God created us as mind, body, and spirit. She is passionate about people experiencing healing from God through the process of counseling. Hillary uses a variety of interventions including play and expressive art activities. Hillary also has a background in the arts, as she graduated from the English National Ballet School.
